What support pays for

Ilmwell is written and checked by one small team. Support covers the running costs, such as the domain, hosting and the tools we use to check sources, and pays a living to the people who research, write and correct each guide.

What you get in return

Our thanks, and nothing else. Supporting does not change what anyone can read, and it does not put you in front of anyone else. Readers who give nothing read exactly the same site.

Support Ilmwell on Ko-fi

The button opens Ko-fi, a separate site with its own privacy policy. Giving is optional, one-off or monthly, and you can stop at any time.

What this is not

• It is not zakat, sadaqah or a charitable donation. Ilmwell is not a charity and cannot give out zakat, so please give your zakat to those who are entitled to receive it.
• It is not a payment for a religious ruling. We do not issue fatwas, and giving does not change what a guide says.
• We make no promise about reward on behalf of anyone who gives. That is for Allah alone.

Ways to help that cost nothing

• Share a guide with someone who is looking for it. A link to the page itself is the most useful thing you can send.
• Tell us about a mistake. Every correction makes the site more reliable for the next reader. Use the contact form.
